MIDAS private sector work focuses on:

• commercial agricultural production; and,
• farm and land management in Eastern and Northeastern Thailand.

Private sector operations include the management of commercial fruit tree plantations and the marketing tropical fruit including durian, rambuttan, mangosteen, mango, and guava.

MIDAS public sector work focuses on:

• sustainable natural resources management and agricultural development;
• issues related to quality of rural life;
• natural resources policy research and analysis;
• project and program formulation in the fields of agricultural, human, and natural resources management;
• provision of technical assistance in environmental planning and management, and natural resources assessment; and,
